ICAN announces online CPE training for 7–12 July 2026

The Institute will hold a virtual Continuing Professional Education training programme from 23–28 Asadh 2083 (7–12 July 2026). Participants will receive 30 CPE credit hours.

The Institute has announced an online Continuing Professional Education (CPE) training programme for members, scheduled for 23–28 Asadh 2083 (7–12 July 2026). The sessions will be delivered virtually from 5:30 PM to 8:40 PM.

The programme will cover developments and practical issues in auditing, taxation, financial reporting and emerging professional matters. Topics include NFRS 17 on insurance contracts, tax law changes introduced by the Finance Act 2083, Section 57 ownership-change tax implications with practical case studies, and the Nepal Standard on Auditing for audits of less complex entities.

Other areas to be addressed include audit evidence, with emphasis on sufficiency and appropriateness across key financial statement areas, compliance and audit risk considerations in cooperatives, cybersecurity risks and internal controls in computerized environments, and the application of NFRS in the hydropower sector.

Members interested in attending have been asked to register through https://mctr.ican.org.np/mptrf. The registration fee is NPR 4,500, exclusive of VAT. The detailed programme schedule will be updated in due course.
